DR. RON PAUL’S PRO-LIFE EMPHASIS:

SETTING THE ‘LOVE TONE’ FOR 2012

PEACEFUL REVIVAL OF THE 1776 REVOLUTION

Even before Liberty, we must protect Life itself, says the wise Doctor from Texas.

DR. RON PAUL emphasizes Liberty relies on Life itself, and our lives come from the Creator.

RON PAUL links the lack of respect for Life, Liberty and Law with abortion, banksterism, unjust undeclared wars, weakened American currency and depressed global economy.

DR. PAUL’S wise solutions are to restore the Old Republic (and end the bankrupt Globalist Empire) by protecting human life from conception (repeal Roe vs Wade, stop Federal funding of abortions, derogate emergency medical powers to state level), rescinding the tryannical Patriot Act, bringing all the troops home, closing down all foreign military bases, getting back on gold standard, closing down the private Federal Reserve Bank, outlawing income taxes, reducing regulation, stopping TSA Homeland Security groping at airports, legalizing all illegal drugs, dissolving DEA, etc….

In Ames, Iowa, he gave a very powerful stump speech today which will very likely cement his status as the wisest man in American politics today.

RON PAUL CHAMPIONS LIFE IN AMES

The Des Moines Register’s Mary Stegmeir reports:

“After months making speeches about the country’s economic crisis, Ron Paul spent the first few minutes of his address inside the Hilton Coliseum talking about his opposition to abortion.

“You cannot have relative value for life … you cannot play God and make those decisions,” said Paul, an obstetrician who has delivered thousands of babies during his career. “All life is precious.”

The 12-term U.S. congressman went on to say that he opposes the use of any public money to fund abortions, before segueing into a review of his foreign policy views.

“Being pro-life” means that when children come of age “their lives are just as precious and they are never required to fight an undeclared, unwinnable war,” Paul said, eliciting a round of applause supporters.

“The country is tired of the war, and we’re also broke,” said Paul, who later promised to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan and Iraq.”

“Being pro-life” means that when children come of age “their lives are just as precious and they are never required to fight an undeclared, unwinnable war,” Paul said, eliciting a round of applause from supporters.

“The country is tired of the war, and we’re also broke,” said Paul, who later promised to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Texan ended his time at the podium by telling the audience he would turn around the U.S. economy by eliminating the Federal Reserve, going back to the gold standard and reducing government regulations on businesses. Elimination of income taxes and corporate taxes should also be “seriously considered,” he said.

“We got into this trouble by not having respect for the Constitution,” Paul said.  “We can get out of trouble by respecting the rule of law and by sending only people to Washington who know, understand and will obey the Constitution.”

THE RON PAUL POLLING REVOLUTION

Some recent polls have plenty of people talking—about Ron Paul. A Rasmussen poll released yesterday shows Michele Bachmann at 22%, Mitt Romney garnering 21% and Paul at a strong third with 16%. Rick Perry is in fourth at 12%. A USA Today/Gallup poll also released yesterday shows Romney with 24%, Perry at 17% and Paul with 14%. Bachmann is in fourth at 13%.

Of course, the pundits will continue to focus mostly on the horse race, but what these numbers also reflect is a significant shift in the battle of ideas—as debt-ridden, job-concerned and perhaps war-weary Americans become more attracted to the consistent constitutional message of Paul. If Romney can be anything to anyone at any given moment, Bachmann’s record is inconsistent, and the Tea Party continues to advertisePerry’s not-so-conservative record in Texas, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that an increasing number of voters are eager to support the one candidate whose record not only matches his rhetoric—but whose limited government philosophy never changes.

After getting scant air time early on Thursday, Ron Paul’s foreign policy views took center stage during the debate’s second half in a heated exchange about U.S. relations with Iran.

While Sen. Rick Santorum and U.S. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann said the Middle Eastern nation posed a clear threat to American security, Paul encouraged a policy of “respect” toward the country.

“Iran is a threat because they have some militants there, but believe me … Iran does not have an air force that can come here — they can’t even make enough gasoline for themselves,” Paul said.  “And here we are…we’re building up this case against them, just like we did with Iraq.”

Sanctions and other measures taken against countries that have not attacked the U.S. undermine free trade and put America at risk of becoming a target of future hostile actions, he said.

The response noticeably irked Santorum, who said Iran extremists are currently targeting U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. But Paul, who has said one of his first acts as president would be to withdraw troops from overseas, stood firm.

“It’s trillions of dollars we are spending on these wars,” he said, earning applause from the audience.
