OTTAWA — Canada will officially recognize rebels fighting the regime of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi as the country’s legitimate representatives, Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird said Tuesday.

Baird made the announcement as he kicked off a much anticipated debate aimed at extending Canada’s participation in the current UN-sanctioned NATO operation, the stated purpose of which has been to protect citizens from Gadhafi’s forces.

“We welcome the efforts of the National Transitional Council in defining core driving principles . . . based on inclusiveness and balanced representation,” he said.

The Globalist Tories are pretending that their ‘intel’ is better than that of most of the Republican presidential candidates, the majority of whom expressed deep doubts about exactly who the Globalists are actually supporting in the Libyan quagmire, in CNN’s presidential debates in New Hampshire last night.

I support Ron Paul, the only candidate that has a consistent voting record against aggression and for life.

Michelle Bachmann did quite well last night, and is certainly a candidate to watch.

Herman Cain messed up on comments about hiring Muslims for his staff.

All candidates called themselves ‘pro-life’ and so there was no real debate on abortion, but Pawlenty and Santorum would probably prove to be just as warlike as Romney if either was elected.

Former Governor Johnson of New Mexico was not in attendance.
