Two Canadian Supreme Court Judges wash their hands of redacted Afghan abuse reports: Bloc joins NDP in dropping out of phoney committee; Jack tells Gilles: ‘I told you not to trust Harper’

Two Canadian Supreme Court Judges have redacted more than 200 pages of ‘sensitive’ Afghan detainee documents that the so-called ‘Harper Government’ has successfully kept secret for years, but their report is held up from public release by the dissolution of the committee looking into the matter.

All the Canadian federal political parties, apparently including the governing Tories, say that they want the judges’ redacted report released, but it is now held up by procedural technicalities, making it highly unlikely the documents will be released during the 2011 federal election campaign, which is another scandal in itself.

New Democratic Party leader Jack Layton, left, and Bloc Quebecois leader Gilles Duceppe exchange remarks as they debate during the French language federal election debate in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on Wednesday, April 13, 2011.

Although the all – party committee tasked to look into the scandal has now been dissolved, the Leader of the Bloc Quebecois, Gillles Duceppe, called for the full release of whatever is left of the documents, while at the same time saying that his party had now reached the point reached by the socialist New Democratic Party, which dropped out of the process some time ago.

Effectively, it remains a stand-off between two Globalist war-mongering parties (Tories and Libs), both of whom are pleased to keep our Canadian Forces mired in a futile, unjust, illegal and costly war without end, in yet another distant Muslim country that never aggressed against Canada.
