Helen Caldicott attempts to educate George Monbiot about the real dangers of nuclear radiation

Dr. Helen Caldicott, founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility, predicted that Fukushima would get much worse and threatened grave health problems some time ago, and now she is tragically vindicated by the horrific events in Japan.

Dr. Caldicott, one of the world’s most famous anti-nuclear campaigners for a number of decades, castigates pro-nuclear ‘climate change’ alarmist journalist George Monbiot in a Manchester Guardian article entitled “Nuclear apologists mislead the world over radiation,’ published at guardian.co.uk on April 11, 2011.

George Monbiot and others at best misinform and at worse distort evidence of the dangers of atomic energy,’  writes Dr. Helen Caldicott in the Guardian article.

Hi Gregory I remember helen Cauldicott from 1977 when I saw her speak and her video out then was “if you love this planet” it was a great piece of work and I would love to connect with her and invite her here as a guest and speak to the people here on the wealth if information she has and knows.

Dr. Helen Caldicott is radical, and on the nuclear issues, generally right!

Sometimes, she is a bit of a witchy hectoring feminist sexist, but I can forgive her her woundedness in that regard.

As a doctor, she is appalled by the misery caused by the nuclear power killers.

I would love to hear her speak on a bill together with Sister Rosalie Bertell.

We really need these old school anti-nuclear ladies to liaise with the new young 9/11 Truthers, don’t you think?

I note with dismay that the Liberals mention 9/11 as the reason why we are still at war in Afghanistan.

Such a huge, obscene lie, especially for the families of the victims’ families…

    Peace

    Gregory

It would be great for the anti nuclear and activist of Helens and others to get together with the new age comers of environmentalist and 911 group.
I rember seing Mario Savio speak in the late 1969 era at the campuses of berkley and all over california. I rember the day they burned watts down the the ground in the watts riots I was 12 we watched the flames . I remember going to high school and they would announce another grad had died in viet nam and going to funerals for 4 years of high school. I remember because I was there and I am still here now. how many leaders and polictians have that kind of experience , up close and personal. I rember the race riots in riverside and the molitoff coctails thrown into the homes of the black community be extreme racist.

  6. Diane Dillon says:

correction in last line aboe means by extreme racist spelling error . forgive that
