Rand Paul hints he may run for President… if his father Ron Paul doesn’t… some want both Pauls to run on same ticket, Ron for Pres., Rand for VP

FILE - In this Oct. 2, 2010, file photo Republican U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul appears with his father U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, during a campaign event in Erlanger, Ky. To gain the Senate majority on Nov. 2, Republicans must hold all 18 of their...

Recently elected as a Republican Senator for the state of Kentucky, Dr. Rand Paul has hinted that there is a real possibility that he will seek the Presidency in 2012, if his more famous father Dr. Ron Paul, a long-serving Congressman from Texas, doesn’t seek the same high office.

Rand’s father Ron is the grand old man of radical pro-life anti-war fiscal-social paleoconservatism, and the younger man has clearly been influenced by the old man’s political philosophical thinking, making Rand Paul one of the best versed of the new so-called ‘tea partiers’.

Some of their most enthusiastic supporters want both father and son to run, the father for the Presidency, the son for the Vice Presidency.

That would make a very interesting spectacle, could very well inspire many other young paleoconservatives to seek public office that year, and would be the beginning of an unusual new dream of political dynasty to replace the soiled Bush family legacy of war, corruption and waste.

To do that they might have to start a new party, as they are evidently becoming quite a serious thorn for the sold-out Globalist Establishment warmongers in the Bushite neo con Republican Party.

So far, they have chosen to try ‘to change the system from within’, as Leonard Cohen put it in his song First We Take Manhatten.

But, sadly, some of Rand Paul’s fellow so-called ‘tea partiers’, have already disappointed their most radical adherents by voting for more money for the Pentagon, thus making a key exception to their general rule of cutting excessive taxes and out-of-control federal government spending.

To distance themselves from these unprincipled opportunists who allowed themselves to be so quickly corrupted in the Globalist War Machine, the Pauls may be forced to form that new party sooner rather than later.

Can the Republican Party ever hope to be reformed by these Constitution-crazy Christian pro-life anti-war doctors from the deep South?

I seriously doubt it, but were I an American citizen, I would be working for both of them to enter the race soon on the Paul and Paul ticket in 2012.

I have been trying to reach Mr. Paul on certain issues without much success. I suggesst that since there has been so much history with the Repulbicans and others parties , that a complete revamp and new party be formed with a very clear platfoorm and a mission statement that is palatable to all persons.
