Good News as Quebec’s ‘green energy’ future becomes election issue

While Charest’s Liberals try to defend the failing nuclear industry

Pauline Marois, Leader of the Parti Quebecois, now promises that the Quebec separatist party would shut down the troubled Gentilly nuclear reactor if elected in the next Quebec provincial election.

This is great news for the people of Quebec, and for the anti-nuclear movement all across Canada, as the annoucement promises to make the province of Quebec the next great battleground for the doomed nuclear industry in this country.

The nuclear industry death watch is underway, folks, as the PQ is way ahead of the corrupt governing Liberals of Jean Charest in popularity at the moment, and the PQ is expected by all pollsters to form the next government.

Pauline Marois and the Parti Quebecois should be commended for making the deadly nuclear issue top-of-mind for Quebecois voters this Spring.
