Jack Layton follows in Harper-Obama’s footsteps: NDP supports illegal unjust Libyan war, sends best Nowruz wishes to ‘the community’ (ancient Persian fire festival)

NEW DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS PROPPING UP A TRYANNICAL FASCIST WARMONGER

NDP SHOULD HELP BLOC AND LIBERALS VOTE NON-CONFIDENCE IN TORIES TODAY

The New Democratic Party under their decadent leader Jack Layton has succumbed to the Death Culture philosophy of the reigning ‘Conservatives’ and the shadow government of the ‘Liberals’.

At the NDP website, shockingly, there is no mention of the pre-emptive air attacks ‘authorized’ unilaterally by warmongering Prime Minister Harper while on vacation in beautiful Paris France.

Traditionally, the NDP, a Canadian social democratic party, could be relied on to voice intelligent and principled dissent on matters of war and peace.

They were the traditional party of the Canadian anti-war movement, the peace movement and the nuclear disarmament movement… at least they were when I was a young man growing up in the  revolutionary sixties.

What happened?

Why are Jack Layton, leader of the NDP, and Denise Savoie, his ever-so-timid Member of Parliament for Victoria, supporting naked imperialist aggression by neo con ‘Conservatives’ following from the Bush-Obama warmaking playbook?

Peace in Afghanistan and Libya will come only when foreign troops, including those Canadians abused by these warmongers, leave those countries.

Sorry Jack , how much tax dollars must I spend to kill other people I do not know?
Speaking of Libya And Libyans. So sad another slaughter to satisfy the machine in D.C. not Ottawa, you are aware i trust that that arms, missiles produced by the U.S. provide employment for the strapped citizens /voters. As long as arms are produced war will continue.
War is it not murder authorized ? ironic that ? France started the flights. Our support for killing saddens me and will blemish yet again Canada’s reputation , make peace not war.
Send persons ,Canadians to assist people overseas building community ,wells agri ,etc, each Canadian being a lasting impression on the foreign nations. This is obvious to most people.

Thanks, Albe. Peace be with you.

Peace be with the Libyan, Afghan and Canadian people… truly.

‘Blessed be the peacemakers,’ said Our Lord in his Sermon on the Mount.

While watching tv late tonight… I must have missed Iggy on how he urged them to bomb Libya first, oh well, not much to miss there, really, eh?

I fell asleep after listening to the lies from the Bloc spokesman…

In these official rationales from the WAR parties in the House of Commons, we hear the famliar refrains used by militarists for ages…

The banal and dirty business of rationalizing filthy war…

Fell asleep, as I was saying… during the longwinded Paul Dewar, the NDP’s puffed-up windbag…

And finally woke up to hear Lawrence Cannon, the Tories’ neo con hitman… try to explain all the reasons why their aggression is a very noble thing, don’t you know?

Their Orwellian Doublespeak is used to confound a semi-somnolent CPAC watching public, and is truly creepy.

When an unjust illegal war is repackaged as ‘UN- sanctioned humanitarian intervention’, you know it will last a very long time, is sure to be a vile and evil thing… and is doomed to backfire on them.

Moamar Gaddafi is weird and odious, but not as crazy as he seems, and is certainly a dangerous psychopath…

Trouble is, so are the other suits… Obama is the greatest terrorist of them all, at the moment.

We need a Ron Paul in this benighted country to keep us out of these damned wars.

Paul is truly a wise man of peace, prudence and patience.

Jack, Gilles and Iggy are propping up a very tyrannical warmonger, and it is truly a shame.
