Jennah Stavroff, 100.3 FM ‘the Q’ Radio Roving Reporter notices CCC’s Formal Citizens’ Complaint open letter to Premier Campbell, Attorney General de Jong and Communities Minister Stephanie Cadieux: call for Victoria Byelection-Referendum Nullification, rescheduling, Local Government Elections urgent reforms before 2011 @ Puget Sound Radio; Jennah Stavroff tapes phone interview with CCC’s Gregory Hartnell

Jennah Stavroff, Roving Reporter for ‘the Q,’ which bills itself as ‘the Island’s Rock’ station on the FM dial at 100.3, left a message on my answering machine yesterday, after reading about the CCC’s FORMAL COMPLAINT letter sent to Premier Gordon Campbell, Attorney General Michael de Jong, QC, and Communities Minister  Stephanie Cadieux, responsible for Local Government Elections reform.

Ms Stavroff had apparently picked up the story from reading a report written by Michael Easton yesterday at the Puget Sound Radio website entitled ‘Victoria’s Stolen Byelection-Referendum’.

I returned Jennah’s call this morning just after 9:00 a. m.

Her first question was whether the CCC had in fact sent the letter to the Provincial government.

I confirmed that in fact we had done so yesterday.

In fact, the first long CCC Open Letter we sent to the province was published on this CCC-GPMH website the day before, Nov. 24 I believe, and then a shorter introductory letter to that was drafted the following day, November 25, and sent out in an email, providing a very short historical introduction to the ministers, and then links to the longer OPEN LETTER TO THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT article at this same CCC BLOG-GPMH site to help them understand the wider ramifications of the Victoria problem, with links provided for them to JSB.org and FOCUS.org for historical background.

[I know that the website clock recording the time of posting here says otherwise, but in fact I do recall sending the OPEN LETTER out very late November 24 night Victoria time, when the website clock had already flipped to the next day… Ed.’s note.]

Ms Stavroff allowed me to ramble on at some length on the telephone this morning, and I told her at the end of it all that I hoped that she would be able to find a good quote or two for her report.

I had to apologize to her for interrupting her at one point, but basically I answered her next main question with another announcement.

At the time of our morning phone interview today, Friday, November 26, we had not received any letters from the province on our initial CCC CITIZENS’ COMPLAINT against the City of Victoria, and lodged with the senior Provincial Government that regulates the Local Government Act.

I assured Jennah Stavroff, however, that should we not notice any acknowledgement of our letter from any of these ministers by the end of this day, they will then find new email correspondence from us on these urgent matters in their email boxes on Monday morning.

I would like to publicly thank Jennah Stavroff of 100.3 FM for her queries, commend her on her research activities, and hope that she keeps asking all the right sort of questions of Dean Fortin, NDP Mayor of Victoria, and his friends Marianne Alto, Pamela Madoff and Lynn Hunter, all  NDP Councillors of the Victoria City Council.

They need to explain how Marianne Alto can be said to have ‘won’ her seat with only 7.08% of registered Victoria voters’ approval.

Jennah could also ask them how they know for a scientific fact that the 74% of absentee or boycotting registered Victoria voters support the building of a new bridge, as Mayor Dean Fortin so ludicrously now claims?

They simply can’t prove it.
