Nanning, Victoria’s new sister city of 6,480,000 people, has a medium sized integrated iron-steel complex

WALMART AND MACDONALD’S IN ALMOST COMPLETLY DESERTED DOWNTOWN NANNING:

Communist Party of China’s ‘green city’ planning at its finest

Nanning, the growing industrial Chinese city that was recently named a sister city to little olde Victoria, is huge, with a population of 6,480,000, according to Wikipedia.

Nanning has ‘a medium sized integrated iron and steel complex,’ according to the 2008 edition of the Columbia Encyclopedia.

Nanning was an important base for supplies going into North Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

What is the real reason why this landlocked Chinese city, so much bigger than Victoria, was recently designated as a sister city to the much smaller Pacifican Canadian port city, and why was its Chinese Communist Party Mayor Fangfang feted by socialist Victoria Mayor Dean Fortin’s regime with Communist Chinese Party flags displayed in welcoming ceremonies in Victoria City Hall?

Could these strange events have anything at all to do with Mayor Fortin’s anxious mania to get a new bridge built in Victoria… perhaps with new steel and iron bridge components fabricated in our own sister city’s integrated iron and steel complex?

The very idea that Canadian federal stimulus money, and local Victoria residential taxpayers’ money will be paying for steel and iron new bridge components made in Communist China, for the next thirty or forty years or so is an idea that is too nauseating for most people here in little olde Victoria to contemplate, but it might just be what we are facing, if the free trade deals the fascistic Conservative Party of Canada has signed with the Chinese Communist Party regime in Beijing mean anything.

As soon as that steel and iron complex in Nanning hears that the voters of Victoria have either foolishly endorsed the borrowing proposed by the Mayor for ratification on November 20, or have rejected it, thus enraging the Mayor enough to follow through on his threat to impose a 16% residential tax hike to pay for the new bridge anyway, the good ol’ boys in Nanning may well be notified to put in a very competitive bid indeed.

That would call for a new radical socialist name for the new bridge to celebrate the new Sino-Canadian peoples’ victory over libertarian inertia.

How about the FORTIN-FANGFANG FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE?

Or the FANGFANG-FORTIN CO-OPERATIVE PEOPLES’ BRIDGE?

ORANGE-RED BRIDGE to reflect the colours of the NDP and the Communist Pary of China?

RED-ORANGE CO-OPERATION BRIDGE OF ETERNAL SOCIALIST PROGRESS?

NANNING-VICTORIA HAPPY TIMES BRIDGE?

VICTORIA-NANNING-OTTAWA-BEIJING HAPPY TIMES PARTY BRIDGE?

CPC-NDP-CPC BRIDGE?

IS NANNING REALLY MAYOR FORTIN’S IDEA OF A ‘GREEN CITY’?

Do you ever read what you write? I cannot believe that you get to spew such hatred and bigotry in the name of what? politics? religion?
The only thing dangerous in your article is you.

Thanks for coming to the site, Mr. Moffat.

Below my name in the upper left hand corner is this slogan which you may not have noticed:

    ‘Charter-protected public interest commentary’

I suggest you get used to exercising your freedoms here in Canada before they are taken away by the PC thought police.
