Brad Cran, Vancouver Poet Laureate, condemns VANOC’s ‘muzzle clause’ against Games criticism, quits ‘Cultural Olympiad’

Marsha Lederman, writing in the Toronto Globe and Mail, reports that Vancouver’s Poet Laureate, Brad Cran, has ‘blasted’ VANOC, citing provincial government cuts to arts funding concurrent with the Five Ring Circus Games, VANOC’S ‘muzzle clause’ against criticism of the Games, and other concerns about the curtailment of free speech rights during the decadent carnaval of excess.

Bravo, Mr. Cran!
