THE SUSTAINABLE CITY? Johnson Street Bridge ‘replacement’ defended by Victoria City Councillor John Luton at his unofficial site: johnluton.blogspot.com

VICTORIA CITY COUNCILLOR LIKES BIKES,

BIG BUDGETS AND SHINY NEW BRIDGES

Bernard von Schulmann, Victoria Vision blogger,

debates Victoria City Councillor John Luton

at the Councillor’s own personal unofficial blogsite THE SUSTAINABLE CITY ,

at a posting entitled ‘For Bernard’ on the fate of the Johnson Street Bridge:

Mr. Luton still wants to tear down the heritage bascule bridge designed by Joseph Strauss, and replace it with something new, designed in England.

Thanks to Yule Heibel, who brought this reader’s attention to Mr. Luton’s blogsite in a comment to a posting at the johnsonstreetbridge.org website.

A link to Mr. Luton’s blogsite will be found in the CCC BLOGROLL to the right under ‘LUTON’, or in the Comments section below.
