SANDY KLINE: Victoria City ‘Council should always consult with their constituents on controversial spending projects’

WHAT’S DRIVNG THE CURRENT COUNCIL

TOWARD A HUGELY EXPENSIVE NEW BRIDGE?

The City of Victoria doesn’t have a good record of walking the heritage preservation path they expect others, like developer Mike Miller, to follow.

Remember Bambu?

The City up-zoned an Old Town property they owned and then sold it.

Show me the respect for heritage.

It’s hard to understand what’s driving the current Council toward a hugely expensive new bridge with so little information and time for consideration of the options.

Council should always consult with their constituents on controversial spending projects.
